Family Holidays at The Hide
If it’s a family trip you are looking at, Africa is an incredible place to experience great beauty and great adventure. Travelling together with your family can be a life changing experience where you can share intimate moments and reconnect with your loved ones.
At Tom’s Little Hide and The Private Hide we welcome children 10 years and above, the dangers of the bush are obvious and we are very careful to make sure that children are safe and taken care of at all times. At “Tom’s Little Hide” we welcome children of every age as this accommodation is booked exclusively and is ideal for families and friends travelling together who want complete privacy.
With rich traditions and strong family bonds, our Guides effortlessly engage children throughout their vacation with special programs about wildlife, conservation and African culture. Kids especially love a “night drive”, where they can spot nocturnal animals and experience the splendor of the heavens whilst stargazing under an African sky. With their innate love and fascination for nature, it is completely gratifying to see your children learn and connect with their surroundings. Seeing Africa through their eyes, a world filled with beauty, is humbling and inspiring. It’s an experience of a lifetime and we learn to dream again and connect with what is meaningful in our lives.
